1.  Component Based Development (CBD) System and IP Protection

Regardless of location, every Daedalus team has access to this international Component archive, and thereby initializes every project with a significant "head start", via one or more pre-tested modules that make up the foundation of the new project or application. These components are then quickly modified and reassembled to meet the customer's requirements, allowing delivery of working prototype much earlier in the development cycle.

With the utilization of Daedalus' Component-Based-Development system, final delivery and assembly of the software components for each project will often be conducted at the customer's site, whereby both Daedalus and the customer can monitor the final phases of testing and quality assurance. Further, this engineering methodology assures that your proprietary intellectual property will be strictly protected, since only the customer and the U.S. project manager will have access to the final product.

2.  Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and Quality Control

All Daedalus development projects are conducted under the guidelines of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), a software-specific quality management model developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University. Along with our own stringent in-house quality measurements and standards, Daedalus Software maintains the highest possible level of CMM adherence as part of our concurrent program to gain ISO 9001 certification.

In addition to our focus on obtaining ISO 9001, we have created our own in-house quality measurements and standards. Our Software Quality Management will ensure that our delivered software will do what it is supposed to do, that it will be built to meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations, and that it will be delivered within the time frame promised to our clients.
